On Friday July 11, 2025, the Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad in Scranton, PA debut into service its longtime restoration project ALCO PA-4 #190. This makes this locomotive the only operational ALCO PA diesel locomotive in the world. The other star this event was its running-mate ALCO RS-3 #4068, originally built for the Delaware & Hudson. The engine was been repainted into the iconic “lightning stripe” scheme. Here is are two video clips of the RS-3 when it had its turn to pull the private excursion train.
