On a beautiful Saturday, we spend the afternoon chasing and riding behind steam locomotive #142. This engine was built in China in May of 1989, for export to the US where it was worked for several railroads. It’s been beautifully rebuilt during its last FRA-mandated inspection, and kicked off the 2026 at the “Bel-Del” running from Phillipsburg to Riegelsville and back. Great day out with a great steam engine.
