On a rather cool late-winter day, Penn Rail Videos was in the Scranton, PA area in search of railroad action. Scranton is known to have something for every railfan, whether it's the steam at Steamtown National Historic Site, or the modern GE widecabs on the Canadian Pacific's Sunbury Sub. Interurban enthusiasts can enjoy the Electric City Trolley Museum, and of course there's the Delaware-Lackawanna regional freight hauler with their all-ALCO diesel locomotive fleet.
This day would be quite rewarding, as we managed to catch Delaware-Lackawanna Train SB-3 heading east on the Pocono Mainline with FIVE ALCO locomotives. Every engine is online and working hard to get the train up to Tobyhanna where the SB-3 crew will service one of the line-side industries.
