Flazin-Yaar is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Flagellant (Gauntlet of Absolution + damage trinket) - DoT dealer
2nd: Man at arms (Spiked shield + accuracy trinket) - guardian
3rd: Grave robber (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) 2 disruptors
6) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
3) Low healing potential
Flazin-Yaar is a nice damage team with great strength of stress and DoT. You have 2 disruptors, 2 deathblowers, 2 riposters, but only 1 healer. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „the finishers“, „porcupine“, „original setup“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser) and Grave robber (pure damage / DoT stresser), both variantions are actually good. And also Highwayman (bandit / gunslinger), the bandit version is better choice.
My advice: Start with Highwayman for opening the riposte, next use Man at arms for buffing the team OR guarding someone. Then Flagellant for applying DoT and lastly Grave robber also for stressing someone.
About score: One match against novice player with typical novice team. After 2nd turn the opponent surrendered. The match wasn’t even 1 minute long.
About team: What a team! Even with one healer, you can make a pressure and what’s important, both main strategies (porcupine / stress) are working! Unfortunately for me I lost 2x against darkest players - both with lame teams [Dumb comp & Shep’s stress #1]. And what pissed me off, was the second defeat - I was already on winning side, but RNGsus again showed me his back and let me lost the match (because nobody couldn’t finished 2 death’s door characters).
At least I won some matches, the first one was great and quick. The stress is real problem here, but if you’re quick enough, you’ve should manage that. Honestly, even with this players and the score, I enjoyed playing this team!
