Showcase one of teams named by Red Hook. This video shows 5 win matches.
Criminal intent is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Bounty hunter (Grappling Mits + accuracy trinket) - deathblow dealer
2nd: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Grave robber (stress trinket + dodge trinket) - DoT dealer
4th: Occultist (stress trinket + dodge trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Bounty hunter / Occultist + Highwayman / Grave robber)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) 3 disruptors
6) 4 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) Low healing potential
Criminal intent is a damage team, that combines also stress and DoT. All characters are deathblowers (if we count Occultist’s „Sacrificial stab“ on afflicted character), next you have 3 disruptors and powerful mark synergy, but only one healer. This team is vulnerable against every possible team, no matter on player’s rank.
I tried to play a few strategies, such as „mix damage + stress“, „double finisher“, „mark team“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Highwayman (bandit / gunslinger), the bandit version is better choice. And also Grave robber (pure damage / DoT stresser), both variantions are good.
My advice: Start with Highwayman for opening the riposte, next use Bounty hunter for disruption, then Grave robber for dealing some damage and lastly Occultist for healing / stressing.
Very bad team. Long time ago I played a similiar team to this [The Guilty], but here instead you have an Occultist, which is good and also bad. Healing is not worth here, because Occultist should be used as stresser/disruptor, healing will waste your turn (because if it’s here injured character and suddenly healed, opponent wouldn’t retaliate and he will hit him/her again). I lost many times, 2x against darkest players with based teams (but close calls), 1x against a veteran player with stress team and 1x against novice player with pure damage team. Nice, that all characters are deathblowers, but that’s not, what you need. The pressure only from pure damage isn’t enough, you need focus to stress and DoT. Otherwise you will lose the match. But you can beat harder opponents.

This video shows a comp made by 135jman and it shows 5 win matches.
The Queen’s guard is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Leper (damage trinket + accuracy trinket) - damage dealer
2nd: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Jester (dodge trinket + damage trinket) - deathblow dealer
4th: Plague doctor (accuracy trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Great damage output
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 2 disruptors
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) DoT is a menace
5) Disruption is a menace
The Queen’s guard is a damage team, that combines also stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers and 2 disruptors. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „support Crusader“, „the finishers“, „mix damage + DoT“ and „full stress“. I tried both variantions of Plague doctor (stress / DoT), it’s better to stick with DoT variantion.
My advice: Start with Leper for dealing massive damage, next use Jester for buffing the team, then Crusader for stunning someone and lastly Plague doctor for applying DoT.
When RNGsus chose this team for me, I was looking for the original setup and I found other team, that was named like this. I wasn’t sure, if I made a mistake or it was just coincidence, but after while I found the „original source“ - this team was took from DD‘s tournament video by Mikefield [123jman vs Baguera | Bo3 | Qualifiers to Butchers League | Day 1 Round 1 | Butchers Circus], where 135jman had this team in his draft, but unfortunately he didn’t play them, so I couldn’t try the original setup. The other team, that have same name as this comp, is one of Sheperd Doggy’s video [THE QUEENS GUARD from 135jman! The Butchers Circus].
Now, my conclusion about this team (tournament team) - it’s horrible. Nice, that you have good damagers and tanks, but that’s it. You can make some stress and DoT, but it’s very low and if you’ll face some mark team, your applied DoT/stress will be cured. Next problem - disruption. Leper in 3rd position is probably “game over”, unless you will push him into the frontline in time. And lastly Plague doctor - an easy target and low-range healing. I lost 3x - 2x against novice players with pure damage team with 2 stunners, and 1x against darkest player with lame “Flagellant-Crusader” duo. Playing this wasn’t enjoyable, you are just relying on pure damage. I don’t like this team, sorry.
For another tips and how play this team better, ask 135jman (on Discord).

This video shows a comp made by komrade karma and it shows 5 win matches.
Adder’s Dilemma is a ,,stress-DoT team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Shieldbreaker (dodge trinket + accuracy trinket) - damage dealer
2nd: Flagellant (Gauntlet of Absolution + damage trinket) - DoT dealer
3rd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - DoT dealer
4th: Antiquarian (Tears of the Lost + dodge trinket) - DoT dealer
PROS:
1) Good damage output
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 2 guardians
CONS:
1) DoT is a menace
2) Stress is a menace
3) Marks are a menace
4) Stuns are a menace
Adder’s Dilemma is a nice stress team with great strenght of DoT and pure damage. All characters can make AoE damage, next you have 3 (self)healers and 2 guardians. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „mix damage + DoT“, „full DoT“, „the finishers“ and „full stress“. Probably the „full DoT/stress“ strategies are the best for playing.
My advice: Start with Shieldbreaker for disruption, next use Flagellant for applying DoT. Then Antiquarian for regeneration spam and lastly Houndmaster for applying DoT OR guarding someone.
A great team! I was very suprised, how some matches went, even against harder opponents. The DoT output is powerful and if you will spam „Rejuvenation vapours“ with Antiquarian, you don’t be worried about healing. Sadly I lost only once against darkest player with based DoT team [Wynterbliss’ DoT], still I like this squadron. Very powerful, easy for making pressure, harder opponents are not that difficult.
EDIT: 4. 2. 2026 Ive got a message from the owner komrade karma, that I played his team. We changed few words and it was very suprising for me, that I didnt found even the original setup. From his words, this team was created during campaign sessions and it shred everything.
