Just paddling, no talking. View from the canoe. And a view of the return slice of the "Canadian stroke", which extends the J and links the corrective force with the return of the paddle forward for the next stroke. The paddle blade shape chosen for this stroke should be relatively thin and streamlined, with a smooth convex on both sides and a sharp edge, to reduce flutter and splash.
