I always get many questions about my canoe, so here is the basic info: The canoe is a classically shaped Prospector 16 (a small 16 length at 15' 8"), 34 inch beam, 14 inch depth, with about 2 inches rocker, with classic tumblehome, ash gunwales; hull is composite of Kevlar + S-glass, weighs about 54-56 pounds; originally sold by Trailhead out of Ottawa, Canada, where I bought it about 30 years ago. This particular canoe model is no longer made to my knowledge.
