It was great conditions for lake skiing, so I went. Made a shoreline fire and did a boil-up on the way. Some camp chores shown, chopping open the water hole, sawing wood, splitting wood for the woodstove, and a dinner prep tip on melting frozen cooking oil.
This is footage from last year 2013 that I am just getting edited now. An unusual start to winter last year here with very little snow, and rain just before the trip that made a crust, which made for excellent traveling, but wet firewood.
