In my crochet tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to make this crochet penguin granny square.

For this pattern you will need 8 ply yarn which is DK yarn in colours light blue, white, black and orange. A crochet hook, I used a 4mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Black sewing thread and a needle to stitch the eyes to the penguin. White cotton to embroider the dot on the eyes.
The finished size will be 13cm square or 5” square for the penguin granny square, using 8 ply crochet cotton.
