In my crochet tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to make this crochet tree applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (162) Black Coffee, (115) Hot Red and (390) Poppy Rose. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends, a pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the tree together.
The finished size will be 12.5cm wide x 13cm high (4.75” wide x 5” high) for the larger tree, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the tree in Catona will be 10cm wide x 11.5cm high (4” wide x 4.5” high). The medium tree will be 9cm wide x 9.5cm high (3.5” wide x 3.75” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small tree will be 6.5cm wide x 7.5cm high (2.5” wide x 3” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
