In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet paintbrush applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona (390) Poppy Rose, (074) Mercury, (404) English Tea and (201) Electric Blue. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch paint to tip of brush.
The finished size will be 2.5cm x 17cm (1” x 7”) for the larger paintbrush, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The medium paintbrush will be 2cm x 12cm (0.75” x 4.75”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small paintbrush will be 1.5cm x 10cm (0.5” x 4”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
