In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet deer or fawn applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (179) Topac, (105) Bridal White, (106) Snow White and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the deer together.
The finished size will be 12cm x 21cm (4.75” x 8.5”) for the larger deer, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The medium deer will be 8cm x 12.5cm (3.25” x 5”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small deer will be 7cm x 11.5cm (2.75” x 4.5”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
