In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this easy crochet heart applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton (115) Hot Red. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends.
The finished size will be 6.5cm x 5.5cm (2.5” x 2.25”) for the larger heart, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the heart in Catona will be 5.25cm x 5cm (2.25" x 2"). The medium heart will be 4.5cm x 4cm (1.75” x 1.5”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small heart will be 3.5cm x 3cm (1.5” x 1.25”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
