In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet chihuahua applique.

For this pattern you will need Scheepjes Catona colours (404) English Tea, (130) Old Lace, (254) Moon Rock and (110) Black. A Crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the chihuahua together. A darning needle to weave in ends. 2 small seed beads if desired for the eyes.
The finished size will be 14cm x 20.5cm (5.5” x 8”) for the larger chihuahua, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The medium chihuahua will be 9cm x 13cm (3.5” x 5”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small chihuahua will be 6.5cm x 10cm (2.5” x 4”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
