The day before we went for our hike at Rocky Ford Fishing Access, we attended an annual event at the Milford Lake Nature Center called Eagle Days. They took us on a bus tour to a viewing area where we saw several Bald Eagles, and an impressive eagle nest (from a distance). Classes were offered to educate the public on eagles and other birds of prey, and the staff were more than willing to answer any of the kids' questions. It was a fun event and a perfect addition to what has been an Eagle-centric month for us!
