The question came up how to create a Golf game with MicroVerse. I created a video some time ago about the creation of a Golf Course. The thing with Unity terrain is that terrain has a collider. And the cup for the Golf game is of course below that terrain. A solution to this is using terrain holes. MicroVerse supports terrain hole stamps, so it's really very flexible in that regard. I needed assets for this example, so I figured why not share it with this awesome Unity community. They are FREE, enjoy! 😁

I guess the next step will be to add playing with the Golf ball. My time today was very limited to modeling and creating this video, so playing will come in a next step. Unless someone volunteers to create the gameplay and share the code 😉

In the video I'm showing the limitations of Unity terrain holes, ie they aren't pixel-exact. So in order to have smaller holes you need an additional mesh to cover the hole again. That in turn needs to blend in with the terrain. Either you model and texture it or do what I do: Use MicroSplat's mesh blend feature.
