The Black Friday Flash Deal for my Ultimate StampIT! Collection starts in 3 days on the Unity Asset Store. It'll be available at -70% for 6 hours. So I thought I'd showcase my stamps in a video. All of them. All 800+ 😁
Best to do that is with MicroVerse. Its speed, ease of use and flexibility are unparalleled on the Unity platform. I extended Genesis with a Placment feature for placing all stamps of the MicroVerse Content Browser on the available terrains in a grid.
While watching please do note how fast MicroVerse is when it comes to terrain manipulation. Everything is done in realtime.
The textures I chose for the terrains are NatureManufacture's Landscape Ground Pack 1 and 2. They are of excellent quality. Of course you'll notice that when you zoom in, but for my overview showcase I just needed a bit diversity. I chose the textures arbitrarily and not necessarily tied to the stamp category. The beauty of it is that it's so easy to create different kinds of terrain looks, independent of the stamp category. All you need is a good base to blend together 😉
Towards the end I had a little time left, so I thought why not just place biomes to show the speed of it all. There's a little hiccup, but that's because I didn't use the biome first and it had to compile a shader in the background (noticable with briefly visible turquoise material). It's only being done the first time, then it's smooth.
The music in the background is from Sky Mubs, it's really awesome and very nice to listen to while working.
