Seen this plate transfer challenge a few times so figured I'd take a crack it. I used just a 10 lb plate here in order to see how many times I could go back and forth.

The original creator is @coachbuddyperformance

And for real, this is not a training exercise...it's a performance challenge!

I've used this vertical bar setup before but never for this kind of thing.

Weirdly enough, my grip wasn't fully giving out but the biggest problem I ran into was actually my hands sliding down the bar so far that I couldn't straighten my legs high enough to get the plate off and to the other bar for the fourth time.

I tried to get myself back up to save it but it was a no go.

Not enough knurling on my bars, I think.

Then I tried to see if I could put a plate on top of another plate but that also was a no go.

I actually ended up tilting the plates, catching them in my feet and setting them down gently :)

That's not what happened on the next test and that's the reason to use bumpers for this...
