Bar Balancing Weighted Dips... after I posted the pull-up version, I had a few people ask if it could be done with dips.
Absolutely, though it's actually even tougher to balance on these. I added a bit of weight here, too (a 45 lb plate) just to add to the fun.
The goal is to keep the bars horizontal as you're doing dips.

I've got 12 1/2 lbs on the other ends of the two bars here. Took a bit of experimenting to get the counterbalance load right (I weigh about 175 lbs, for reference, then add the 45 lb plate, so 220 lbs of load on my end).
The balancing requires CONSTANT adjustment all the way up and down. Your chest, triceps and front delts get NO break the entire time.
