A video of me dreaming my way through the extra stage of the fangame Concealed the Conclusion.
For those of you who don't know, Concealed the Conclusion is a Touhou fangame made by Danmaq. I can say almost without hesitation that this is widely considered the best danmaku fangame of the Touhou series. Made under the limitations of Danmakufu, it is truly a masterpiece up there in quality with the official games.
Originally I was going to post the entire game in Lunatic, since I found it blasphemous not to do it. Then I hit the ceiling of my own limitations and I don't have enough incomes to make the ceiling any higher. CtC Lunatic is on par with UFO and SA in sheer difficulty. Despite this, the games has more in common with pre-MoF games, both in patterns and only featuring characters that appeared in the series up to PoFV. Case is, I had no time to do the entire practice procedure it takes to complete a Lunatic. When I first started posting videos, there were only like two videos featuring CtC's Extra and Phantasm. Well, there are still only two vids featuring Phantasm since you have to pretty much hack the game to get it in this side of the world. And not even that, is just delete one measly line in the script that causes to unlock Phantasm at the same time you unlock Extra. Still, if I waited for me to do Lunatic, who knows how much it would have taken to upload this? The game isn't getting any younger.
All that said, this Extra stage isn't particularly special. At first it might seems tricky, but in reality is the easiest Extra Stage I had fought. The midboss isn't anything special and practically all the patterns can be neutralized by killing the enemies, can be streamed, or can be done without even moving. There are like only two actual patterns (outside the midboss) that are any real threat. The actual Ex-Boss however...
I hope you enjoy this small run. It will feature the two stages, Extra and Phantasm, and their bosses, all these for a grand total of four videos. Hooray! Please enjoy.
