''Stingray' was the third Gerry Anderson series filmed in the ''Supermarionation' process. This time the storylines moved underwater where W.A.S.P. policed the oceans of the world. The 39 episodes that were filmed held the distinction of being the first British series filmed entirely in color (or colour if you will). The spectacular smash-bang opening sequence was exceptional for its time, as was Barry Gray's 'Stingray' theme.
