Replacing 'Brooklyn South' on CBS, 'L.A. Doctors' (1998) starred Ken Olin and Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer from 'Twin Peaks'). It won 'favorite new dramatic series' on the People's Choice Awards (which, just by coincidence, also aired on CBS) but couldn't compete with football and 'Dateline'. It was gone after one season.
