Rubik (1983) was one of the first animated series to feature mostly Hispanic/Latino characters (with Ron Palillo of 'Kotter' fame playing the title role). The cube came to life when properly solved to use its superpowers. But the show didn't prove to be very amazing; it only lasted 12 episodes. Dean Elliott ('Thundarr') contributed the theme song, performed by Menudo.
