Inspired by the life of columnist/author/humorist Dave Barry, this 1993 series starred Harry Anderson. It dealt with the complications and tribulations of family life, featuring wife Beth, two children, and various supporting characters. It wasn't exactly factual (real-life Barry had only one child, and he and his wife divorced during the show's run) but it did well enough to last four seasons (time slot juggling by CBS may have hastened its demise). The theme song was 'You May Be Right' by Billy Joel, performed by Southside Johnny (known, to me at any rate, for 'Adventures in Babysitting'). After the broadcast airings, that theme was removed and replaced with a generic jazz-rock instrumental. Jonathan Wolff contributes a lively piano riff for the end credits.
