In its final attempt to program a 'Saturday Night Thrillogy', NBC decided to follow up 'The Pretender' and 'Profiler' with 'The Others' (2000). A group of 'gifted' persons (psychics, seers of dead people, etc) encounter troublesome paranormal forces. Glen Morgan and James Wong were among the producers/writers and Tobe Hooper directed an episode. But after 13 weeks the 'Thrillogy' (all of it) was officially dead. The theme is by Frankfurt-born Klaus Badelt, who had come to America to work with Hans Zimmer.
