A video chat about a much better coolant tank (dirt cheap) for your classic car. In this case a Triumph Stag but it applies to most Triumphs and a lot of other makes. These are available new and were original OEM parts for the Opel/Vauxhall Astra 2.0/1.7 around year 2000. These should be placed high up in the engine bay, have convenient mounting bits, provide an easy way to see the coolant level, make it less likely to get air in the coolant system and are cheap at around £20.

Just look for the 1304643 part number. You can get them with or without the cap. The caps are also available separately: amzn.to/3Q4k2sZ
