If you do DIY work on cars at all, there comes a time when some welding is required. A MIG (Metal In Gas) welder is the easiest and cheapest place to start. Reasonable results can be achieved with a bit of practice. I was doing a bit of recent exhaust welding up and in this video I share some tips on MIG welding and show some weld results including what a good or a bad welding session look like though the welding mask view. Only 16 minutes so just some basic tips included - 8 of them, or 9 if you included just the need to practice lots!
IMPORTANT NOTE: DON’T LOOK AT THE WELDING POINT WHEN OPERATING. ONLY LOOK THROUGH THE WELDING MASK. YOU WILL BLIND YOURSELF OTHERWISE.
