Before ernrolling for film directing at the HFF film school in Munich Christoph Hochhäusler studied architecture at TU Berlin. His films MILCHWALD (2003), I AM GUILTY (2005) and THE CITY BELOW YOU (2010) made him famous among a cinephile audience both in Germany and abroad. Besides directing Christoph Hochhäusler is also reflecting about cinema on a more theoretical level. He is co-editor of the film quarterly REVOLVER and the blog PARALLELFILM. To us Hochhäusler spoke about film and architecture.
