From the very beginning of her carreer, Ulrike Ottinger worked with various artistic mediums, including photography, visual art, installations and of course film. She combines in her work the interest in understanding cultures and societies with a very strong artistic vision. In our interview she talked about the relationship between history, places and pictures.
