He is the Wunderkind of Cannes where he presented his first feature film "I killed my mother" in the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in May 2009 and his second film "Heatbeats" one year later. There is an enormous amount of references to other artists and filmmakers in his work but his imagery is powered by his own imagination. To us Xavier Dolan spoke about that power of imagination in cinema and in life.
