I head out into a huge forest on a cold and wet February afternoon to camp with Ben from Ben’s Hikes and Camps @benhikescamps We set up a tarp and tents before collecting fire wood in the damp conditions for the night. We get a big camp fire 🔥 going and chat about hiking and camping and some of the long distance hikes we have done like the South Downs Way and the Coast to Coast. We have a camp fire chat describing our journeys and experiences which hopefully will encourage you to get out more. It was great having company on this camp which is one of the reasons why I have not done any camps over the winter as nights can be long and dark on your own.
