At the end of day 2 the weather changes dramatically from calm weather to an intense storm with heavy rain. I was wild comping at Black Sail in the Lake District and as the tent began to shake I became increasingly concerned as to my safety. Then suddenly the wind direction changed blowing directly at my tent's weakest point and I had not secured the door properly. What would I do to survive the night? What was my contingency plan? I ended up camping somewhere I nave never camped before for what turned out to be a very long night.
In the morning the storm continued and I had no option but to venture up over the 600 metre mountain in the fog to find somewhere safe to stay, It turned into another unforseen stealth camp in the second unusual stealth camping location.
