I go in search of Pennine Water in the North Pennines. I wanted to test my new water filter the BeFree Katadyn Water Filter and have not had chance in the south east of England so had to try when I visited the North Pennines. I wanted to walk up high enough beyond farms so the water would be better and there would hopefully be no chemicals. A water filter is great for long distance hikes in remote country as it literally sets you free from carrying heavy water and you could go for days with dydrated food packs something I want to try in the future. What would the Pennine Water taste like?
