Retiring in just 4 days! 🎉 Join me on my bikepacking test run as I cycle into the beautiful British countryside for a one-night wild camp in a peaceful woodland.

In this video, I put my bikepacking setup to the test, share my honest thoughts on the experience, and explain why bikepacking is such a brilliant, low-cost hobby for retired men. From affordable gear to the freedom of the open road and sleeping under the stars — it’s the perfect way to stay active and explore on a budget after retirement.

This trip also serves as an important test run for my upcoming challenge: tackling an 85-mile section of National Cycle Route 1 (NCN1) over two days with wild camping right after I retire!

âś… What I cover in this video:
- Cycling into the countryside and finding a wild camping spot
- Evening woodland camp and morning pack-up
- Why bikepacking is ideal for retirees

If you're approaching retirement, love cycling, or are curious about bikepacking and wild camping in the UK, this video is for you!
