...So Here's a project I started quite a few months ago. It always amazed me how much hair falls out every time you comb your hair so I thought I'd save mine & see if I could make a cord from it.

...I tried before, unsuccessfully, with some of Mrs smoke hair but after being given a few pointers from @arsgarnyam I realised that scrunching it up into a chaotic tangle then teasing out a small legnth to twist was the way to go.

...It's not easy to twist as it naturally wants to untwist itself so you have to twist it tight & pinch it tight on every twist. Eventually though I got a long enough length & it held out surprisingly well on the bow drill test. I spun a few more embers with it since & it's still holding out but I think I'll keep twisting until it's twice as long then I'll twist it back on It's self to make an extra strong cord.
