Got another invincible for my trophy wall! The Son of Crawmerax has been defeated, and it wasn't as bad as some of the other invincibles I've fought. I honestly think he's a little easier than even Pete.
After fighting Craw Jr. a few times yesterday and failing, I thought that it would take me a bit to get the kill. Fortunately, I found out from other people that he wasn't weak to fire, but to shock (that was really surprising). Sure enough, when I fought him again with this in mind, I came out the victor.
My strategy was pretty simple: use my Slag Crossfires to slag and use my Shock Conference Call to do damage. It worked so well that I only used my other weapons (Slagga, Badaboom and DPUH) mainly for second winds and crowd control. The first part of the battle was the only iffy part because he doesn't spawn minions until his health reaches a certain point. After that, though, Craw Jr. definitely gets a little easier.
And then there was 1 invincible left. It's very fitting because he is the hardest and most frustrating one of all. I won't stop, though. I'll have my victory eventually, and when I do, it will feel awesome.

I had wanted to do a fresh story run on OP8 for a while now, so I thought Id do one with a restriction-no red text gear. A white-only or green-only run probably wouldve been a lot harder, but I chose to do it this way because I wanted to make it a little challenging and fun.
I wont be in a big hurry to complete the story, so Ill engage most of the enemies that are in my path. Ill also be switching gear fairly often in order to show how everything fares at OP8 difficulty. Hopefully, this will keep things somewhat fresh and interesting.
In this final installment of the main story run, I fight my way through Hero’s Pass and ultimately save Pandora from Jacks not-so-awesome tyranny.
It was pretty fun playing through the main story with no red text gear. Thank you for all the great feedback you gave me, too! Next up: the remaining slaughter arenas (Bandit and Hyperion). I hope all you guys and gals had a great holiday season!
