This is a short demonstration of my "Last Man Standing" OP8 Commando build in action. In this video, I show the ultimate power of the Soldier Class Mod. By combining the Corrosive Badaboom with my Legendary Soldier Com, I can chew through the armor of a L82 Digistruct Saturn in less than a minute! Some people have said that Saturn takes a long time to kill, but I guess it depends. It took me just over 6 minutes total to take care of them. I had recorded a previous run that I did in just under 5 minutes, but sadly, the audio got messed up.
First, I lured one of my victims to the entrance of the arena. Once he was close enough, I launched the turret to distract him. I destroyed his turrets to activate Onslaught, which pretty much turned the Corrosive Badaboom into a monster. By the time Onslaught ended, Saturn was near half heath, so I just kept firing until he dropped. I almost got the second one with just the Badaboom, too, but I was still happy with the damage I inflicted. By destroying the turrets, I took away a means to get a second wind, but it turned out OK (that scenario happened at least 2 times during a few runs of the area).
I also wanted to say that the Slagga and Badaboom are two of my absolute favorite weapons in all of Borderlands 2. The Slagga is fantastic for slagging, and the Badaboom excels at blowing stuff up! Since the Badaboom CAN come in explosive, it makes the PERFECT launcher for my Explosive Axton. Although I still think some Bandit weapons are inferior to other weapons, these two are both unique and awesome.
