I think I stumbled upon a glitch that makes the Scorches in Digistruct Peak lose all interest in fighting you. Seeing this happen made the incident in my previous Digi run make more sense.
From what I can tell, Tweedledum and Tweedledee will get tricked into thinking you're not there if you stay along the outer edge of the map (Scorch area). In my case, I went to the edge, deployed my turret, immediately reclaimed it and started running along the cliff. I'm not sure why, but doing this makes both of them lose interest in you after a few seconds.
So far, I've done this with the Commando and the Assassin (a friend helped me). Both classes have action skills that can be ended quickly, so I am not certain if this makes the glitch work the way it does. I did attempt the same thing without deploying the turret, but I had no success. It would be interesting if other classes are able to do it.
This might not be as cool as other tricks, but if you need a breather from Scorch, then this might buy you some time.
