I decided to try my hand at the 4 slaughter arenas (Bandit, Creature, Hyperion and Magic). Some of my subs wanted to see them done, too, so here's the first (and probably the hardest) one.
They weren't kidding when they said, "Badass!" Dwarves, Knights, Orcs, Fire Archers, Magicians and Skeletons, oh my! I clearly underestimated how many badasses would get thrown my way in this battle. Luckily, I succeeded after 5 or so attempts.
Rather than relying on Tediore reloads and Fastballs for the entirety of the fight, I chose to stick with my "Fantastic Four" of weapons: Slagga, SWORDSPLOSION, Badaboom and DPUH. These four weapons get used more than any of my other ones.
For shields, I chose the Blockade. It's so good for non-bullet attacks. I was also happy for bringing along my Fire-Immunity Big Boom Blaster, too, because of those blasted Ultimate Badass Fire Archers. It made dealing with them almost trivial.
I also used the Fire Storm to regain grenades when I needed to.
