Well, we FINALLY found something that'll take Axton's damage capabilities to the next level, and it. is. MASSIVE!

Just grab a Cradle Shield, equip an Explosive Damage Relic and put on a Grenadier Com. The damage is CRAZY!

But seriously, I was pretty surprised that the Cradle gets boosted by both grenade and explosive damage. Now all that needs to happen is for someone to kill things on OP8 with just Slag and that shield...
