See how we cooked 2 great Prime Ribeyes from Linz Meats on the Kamado Joe! Perfect reverse sear for a medium rare finish!
• Started with two nice bone in Ribeyes from Meats by Linz. Prime Cuts.
• Salt brined the ribeyes and put in refrigerator for 24 hours.
• Set up the Kamado Joe for direct and indirect cooking.
• Started them indirect until they reached about 80F.
• Seared for 4:30 minutes total.
• Pulled them once we reached about 110F and they finished resting right at 130F.
• We had 2 perfectly cooked ribeyes!
Summary: The Ribeyes turned out perfect! The Kamado Joe is a work horse and would do these exactly the same next time. Having the MeatStick 5 Probes and being able to monitor the temperature while searing is a game changer!
