Cooked a choice Picanha from Costco on the SNS Kettle using the rotisserie! This was my best one I ever cooked!
• Started with a nice Picanha from Costco and sliced into steaks.
• Trimmed some fat and kept a nice ¼” layer of fat cap.
• Seasoned with salt only for about 3 hours in advance.
• Centered the slices on the rotisserie rod in the center for even cooking.
• Placed on the SNS Rotisserie.
• Was shooting for a grill temp of 320F degrees using the Slow ‘N Sear attachment.
• Once it got close to 70F degrees on the Meater+, we checked it to see how it looked.
• When it got to about 115F we checked again.
• Pulled the roast when it got to 122F degrees and let it rest.
Summary: The Slow ‘N Sear Rotisserie is very impressive. These choice Picanha steaks from Costco were extremely tender and juicy! Only thing I would change is possibly cooking a little hotter from the start, but this still turned out nice!
