Previously the bones were only selectable from the entity list and that made them hard to select. Now you can see the bone hierarchy in 3D if you select the skeleton, and it will remain visible until skeleton or any bone is selected.

The old CPU particle system has been replaced with a GPU-based system. This allows for an increased scale in simulation, additional collision with scene geometry. New effects are available with the help of force fields and particle motion blur.
