Have you ever wanted to crack open a bottle or two of cheap flavored whiskey just to see what happens? Really, you have? Me too. Or rather, me two, because that’s how many bottles we opened.
I picked these up for the live cocktail show off a couple community recommendations. One is basically the budget-bin cousin of Jim Beam Red Stag, and the other is part of that wonderfully cursed bottom-shelf flavored whiskey lineage, this one specifically being Vanilla Cake. The question was simple: will it Manhattan? And the answer was… yeah, kinda. Weirdly enough, it does.
PS: Yes, I know Stanford, Connecticut doesn't exist. I've never been, and neither have you.
