Bet you didn't know Bear McCreary did a Batman theme, huh? As it turns out, Bear composed the music for the opening cinematic of Gotham Knights, giving us a theme for Batman that sounds soooo Bear. A pumping ostinato played on rushing strings, backed by a pounding bass, and a heroic eight-note leitmotif blasting on brass. It's so underused in the game due to this being the only section Bear composed, and I assume the rest of the score doesn't implement Bear's themes, but he did the most with it that he could in the limited time it was used. It's not on the same leagues as the other iconic Batman movie themes, but nonetheless I feel like this was a theme that could've been in contender for one of the best Batman themes if it got it's time to shine in a full Batman game or movie. Nonetheless, it's an awesome theme for the limited time it got to shine.
