It's impressive to me that Beck created a theme for Janet in the first Ant-Man, and not only did it fit what we knew of her in that movie but also managed to be substantial enough to stay as her theme in subsequent appearances with little alteration in the structure of her theme. It's usually preceded by a five note theme statement of sorts, a somber, reflective motif that sets the stage for the tragedy she endured. Her theme and it's subsequent phrases fits her character very well, not only sounding emotional and sad but also triumphant and heroic. It's not heroic in a grand, Superman-esque way, but in a way that feels very sacrificial, fitting Janet's selflessness and determination to do what's right for the people she loves.
