The queue for the RD units is determined by you guys! If you want to see your unit in the series, just request them in the comments (Once per month). Here is the queue at the moment: bit.ly/3EkSQUq
Currently I am only taking requests for non-RD units via Google Forms. If there is a form active, it will be listed here! https://forms.gle/oV62JR2PjExUyoyQ8
The Mad King of Daein is up next, and he, along with one of the other kings in recent videos, Nemesis, is one of the tankiest units in the series. However, not as much as Nemesis since Ashnard still has the dragon effectiveness weakness to deal with. His HP, Def, and Res make him quite the tank aside from his dragon weaknesses and the secondary effect from his personal weapon, Gurgurant, that makes it so that the enemy cannot crit him when it is equipped. If you were here for the last series, he had this all the time even without the weapon equipped due to my limitations in the last series, so this is a bit of a nerf to him. However, one other thing that was changed for him is the fact that he now has access to all Swords, something he didn't have before, which very much makes up for only getting Fortune when equipped with Gurgurant. Having access to Alondite for some extra Def/Res and Vague Katti for big crit damage when needed is a huge boon for him. He also has a solid Mag stat considering he is a physical unit by all accounts. But with his 78 Str, he really doesn't need to use it. His Skl is also very high, so he'll have a small crit rate against some of the lower Lck units even when not equipped with a crit weapon. And when he does crit, it will hit for a lot, which makes up for not having a mastery skill (Technically the King Daein class doesn't get a mastery skill in PoR, so I couldn't give him Stun). The big downside to him is that his Lck is so low that he will never initiate against the units in RD unless they let him (Shade/Stillness units). However, that downside is also quite an upside for him. Since he can take a lot of hits with his amazing bulk, a lot of the mastery skills just don't do enough to one-shot, two-shot, or even three-shot! Even the mastery skills that double or triple the units' Str stat. So, because he goes second, all he has to do is survive the combat and then counter attack them with big damage to either kill right there or on the following turn when he initiates. That does bring up the other issue with him, which is going back to his Lck stat; his hit rates are quite garbage, even with the 70 Skl that he has. And because his Spd stat is kind of middling, if he misses, he gives the opponent many more tries to defeat him.

Roy is considered to be one of the worst lords in the series, but because I take stuff from Engage for the units that have rings there (aside from some other units that dont need it), Roy ends up getting a very solid build. His first skill is Hold Out, which is translated to Miracle in this format, and because of his high HP/Lck stat of 108/75, he ends up very tanky even though his defenses are not good at all. And speaking of his really high Lck, because initiation is based off of Lck in this series, he goes from initiating pretty often to now most of the time. Which, paired with his Engage attack, Blazing Lion, means that if he so chooses, he can start most of his fights with a free ranged attack with no counter against him; something that a unit that relies on Miracle to survive attacks is a godsend since they can avoid the need to proc Miracle as often. He also has Rise Above, which just increases his levels from 85 to 90, and Advance, which just gives him a slight Spd boost of +2. And to round out his build, he also has Renewal from his Prf sword Binding Blade, but this rarely has any significance anyways even if recovery is something that benefits Miracle units. And speaking of his personal weapon, its very strong! So strong that I didnt need to increase any of its stats at all, which I often do in this series to help bring them up to speed with RDs SS weapons. Turns out a 1-2 accurate ranged sword with high Mt, a +5 boost to both defenses, a little crit, and effectiveness against dragon units is quite powerful. His Str stat was also quite terrible just from FE6, but because he gets access to Engage stuff, his Str skyrocketed to barely above average even with the extra levels on top. But its high enough to deal with some of the lower end defensive units. And for the higher Def units, he can leverage his decent Mag stat of 38 with Tempest Blade instead. Roys main strategy ends up quite strong: initiate with Blazing Lion for some free damage, then rely on his high HP and Miracle procs to whittle the enemy down.
