Cryoshell volunteered to make a couple of models for this project. One of those is this great Automag concept. He also works on some level props too.

![Botpack 2019: UT99 Bots + UE4 [#1]
I think my Unreal AI project has gained some momentum already which means more in-depth future work, and fewer opportunities for new videos.
So, here is a byproduct of my Unreal monsters development original UT bots (which were using very same basic principles as Unreals monsters), plus few extras.
While working on them, I was able to view my previous work from some different angles (for instance, in terms of AI perception) and even improve some parts of it.
Bots in this particular video are in their infancy, limited by just few basic actions. Botpack 2019: UT99 Bots + UE4 [#1]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/LZgZ_lcUw0c/mqdefault.jpg)

A pair of (non)flying heroes...
As per normal UE4 practice, theyre sticking to the ground not really using their ability to fly (yet)... [U1 UE4] - Gasbag & Manta](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/LxAW5TsEdd4/mqdefault.jpg)

![Unreal 1 UE4 | Vertex Animations Test [UT Pre-Alpha custom level]
[Depths of Rrajigar from Unreal] Custom DM level WIP made for UT Pre-Alpha (aka UT4).
UPD: please note, this work (as a proposed UT mod) was put on hold since Epic did same to UT. As of 2019 the project is being developed as a standalone UE4 game see my recent videos for more.

Original description
Surprisingly, theres a way to have vertex animations in UE4 (which are not supported directly since UT3/UDK) using special shader materials.
Similar to morph targets, this approach has its own flaws tho.
If youre interested, you could read more here (3ds Max version of tool is come bundled with UE4):

also, theres Blender script variant too:
