I’ve got a spaceship I made out of cardboard
It only flies when I’m high on edibles
I wrote the word NASA on it with a marker
So that the ship would seem more credible

When I’m sober it doesn’t go anywhere
When I’m high it takes me right up to heaven
It plays prog rock from the dashboard
And its name is Astro ship 7

7 million gallons of hyper-fuel
7 laser blasters shooting down rocks
7 beach parties on the sea of the moon

I got a girlfriend who likes sci-fi
She came over and saw my ship
We took some edibles together
And then we took a trip

When she first took at look at my rocket
She had a lot of questions
But now that she’s been far out with me
She doesn’t question Astro ship 7
