It has now been revealed that The CW was saved because of Stephen Amell's Arrow.
The CW served as the home of DC's live-action shared universe, the Arrowverse, prior to James Gunn's future DC Universe or even the films of the previous DCEU.
According to one of Arrow's co-creators, when Arrow premiered in 2012, the success of the superhero series would determine the destiny of the whole network.
Marc Guggenheim claims that Warner Bros. TV President Peter Roth told the Arrow crew over lunch that there would be no more CW if the show failed.

Catwoman played by Zoe Kravitz would be a great lead for The Batmans second spinoff, since Selina Kyles story was set up in The Batmans ending.
After Batman beats the Riddler, Catwoman tries to get him to leave Gotham with her and go upstate, Bludhaven maybe.
She tells him that together they can knock off some CEO hedge fund types. Batman says no, so Catwoman gets on her motorbike and drives off.
